Centriti Secures ₹6 Crore in Pre-Series A Round Led by Emergent India Ventures

Centriti, a B2B SaaS e-procurement platform, has raised ₹6 crore in a Pre-Series A funding round. The round was spearheaded by Emergent India Ventures (EV2) and included notable participation from Atrium Angels, Alluvium Capital, Venture Garage, CoralBay Ventures, HOF, and Brigade Group.

Founded in 2022, Centriti has quickly established itself as a key player in the hospitality procurement landscape. The platform offers a comprehensive tech-based procurement system designed to centralize and streamline the procurement process for hotels, restaurants, and cafés (HoReCa). Recognizing the daily demand for over 1,000 products by these businesses, Centriti addresses inefficiencies caused by managing multiple suppliers and minimal technological integration, providing a unified solution that enhances operational efficiency and reliability.

Daljeet Singh, Founder and CEO of Centriti, expressed his enthusiasm for the funding, stating, “This investment is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and will enable us to revolutionise procurement systems in the hospitality industry at scale. Within a short span of two years, we have been able to create a significant impact in the geographies we currently operate in. With this support, we are poised to deliver unparalleled value to our partners and customers.”

The capital infusion will be allocated towards enhancing Centriti’s technological capabilities, reducing service time, and expanding into new markets. Currently operational in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, Centriti plans to extend its presence to Goa, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Chennai over the next two years.

Karan Mittal, General Partner at EV2 Ventures, highlighted the strategic importance of the investment, saying, “As an impact-focused mobility fund, enabling supply chain efficiencies is paramount to our investment thesis. Centriti’s innovative approach in providing a holistic solution for the HoReCa industry through its end-to-end procurement platform, while leveraging AI, has immense potential to revolutionise distribution and mid-mile logistics across the sector.”

Centriti’s impressive client list includes renowned hospitality brands such as Taj Hotels, Oberoi Hotels, Accor Group, Barbeque Nation, and Chai Point. With the newly acquired funding, Centriti is poised to further disrupt the procurement landscape in the hospitality industry, driving efficiency and growth for its partners and customers.
