Metadome.ai Raises $6.5 Million in Series A Funding Led by Siana Capital and Chiratae Ventures

Metadome.ai, a leading extended reality (XR) startup, has successfully raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round. The round, which includes both equity and debt, was led by Siana Capital and existing investor Chiratae Ventures. New investors Alteria Capital, 3to-1 Capital, and Manish Choksi’s family office also participated in the round.

With this latest infusion of capital, Metadome.ai plans to accelerate its growth by expanding into new regions and enhancing its capabilities in advanced XR technologies integrated with AI. The startup aims to strengthen its presence in key markets, including the US, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

Kanav Singla, Co-Founder and CEO of Metadome.ai, commented on the funding, saying, “This investment will help us take our innovative XR solutions to the next level by not only expanding our geographical footprint but also by advancing our technology to better serve our clients in various industries.”

Metadome.ai, formerly known as Adloid, was founded in 2016 by Kanav Singla, Shorya Mahajan, and Kartik Kanaujia. The company specializes in providing sales enablement solutions using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) across industries such as home decor, e-commerce, and mobility. Some of its notable clients include Hewlett Packard (HP), Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, and Asian Paints.

The startup has experienced significant growth since its inception, with its customer base more than doubling in the past year. “Our growth has been organic, and we are thrilled to see the increasing demand for our XR solutions,” the company stated in its release.

In December 2021, Metadome.ai raised $4 million in its pre-Series A round, also led by Chiratae Ventures.

Recently, Metadome.ai partnered with Hippo Homes to introduce a virtual reality experience at its new store in Greater Noida, allowing customers to explore home improvement solutions in an immersive environment.

The XR industry has been attracting substantial interest from investors globally, with Statista reporting that the sector garnered $1.9 billion in investments, highlighting the growing importance of 3D, AR, and VR technologies in enhancing the customer buying and post-sales experience.

Metadome.ai is also a member of NVIDIA’s Inception and Google Startup programs, positioning itself among other emerging XR companies in India such as SmartVizX, Liminal, Embright Infotech, Scapic, and GMetri.
