Crackle Technologies Secures $1.7 Mn Pre-Seed Funding To Revolutionise Adtech with AI Solutions

Adtech startup Crackle Technologies has raised $1.7 Mn (approximately INR 14 Cr) in a pre-seed funding round, co-led by We Founder Circle and AC Ventures. The funding round also witnessed participation from key industry players, including founders of Impetus Technologies, Sunicon Ventures, Global DeVC, Misfits Capital, and Ludo King.

Crackle Technologies, founded in October 2023 by former Google executives Harsh Mittal, Shashank Dudeja, and Jaivir Singh Nagi, is on a mission to empower publishers by maximising their adtech earnings through AI-based solutions. The company aims to utilise the fresh funds to develop globally scalable products that will transform programmatic advertising for publishers and developers across sectors such as gaming, mobile applications, news platforms, and OTT services.

Transforming Adtech for Publishers

With the rise of programmatic advertising, Crackle Technologies is positioning itself as a key player in helping publishers optimise their ad revenue, automate workflows, and enhance user experiences. The startup leverages its proprietary technology, which applies advanced data analytics and predictive modelling to boost publishers’ earnings in the adtech space.

Jaivir Singh Nagi, cofounder of Crackle Technologies, expressed the importance of the funding in advancing the company’s goals: “This funding will be instrumental in advancing our mission to maximise publisher revenue and fuel a thriving ecosystem of diverse content to keep the internet relevant and useful for all.”

Adtech Market Growth

Crackle Technologies enters the adtech market at a pivotal time, as major players like InMobi aim for significant growth, with an expected $10 Bn valuation in an IPO planned for next year. InMobi’s subsidiary, Roposo, is also making waves by transitioning from an influencer-led commerce model to a broader social commerce platform, empowering users to set up their own online stores with the help of GenAI tools.

The Indian adtech market is projected to witness substantial growth, with a CAGR of 25.7% between 2024 and 2030, according to a report by Grand View Research.
