Shilpa Shetty Joins Alpino as Brand Ambassador and Investor

Alpino, the innovative healthy foods brand renowned for its peanut-based products, has announced Bollywood superstar Shilpa Shetty as its new brand ambassador and key investor. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone for Alpino, which has recently secured $1.2 million in its inaugural funding round with backing from notable investors including Paresh Ghelani and others from Aashar Capital.

Founded in 2016 by a group of six friends—Chetan Kanani, Hiren Sheta, Umesh Gajera, Priyank Vora, Milan Gopani, and Mahatva Sheta—Alpino has made waves in the health food industry with its unique range of products derived from peanuts. As the world’s only company dedicated entirely to peanut-based offerings, Alpino has revolutionized healthy eating with its protein-rich lineup, including peanut butter, super rolled oats, super muesli, and the world’s first peanut protein isolate powder. The brand is set to expand its product portfolio with more than 20 new products over the next two years.

Shilpa Shetty expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “I’ve always believed in living a balanced life—staying healthy, but without stressing over it too much. Despite a challenging setback last year, when a fire at their Surat warehouse caused over Rs. 2 crore in losses and halted operations for six months, Alpino has made a remarkable comeback. With the launch of “Alpino 2.0,” the company achieved record-breaking revenues, highlighting its resilience and recovery capabilities.

The funds from the recent funding round will be allocated towards enhancing Alpino’s offline presence, expanding its international footprint, and driving further product innovation. With a growth rate surpassing 150 percent this year, Alpino is rapidly establishing itself as a market leader. The brand is a top seller on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart and is available at over 6,000 retail locations across India, including Reliance, Metro Wholesale, and Godrej’s Nature’s Basket. Alpino’s products are also present in more than 10 countries worldwide.
