Hyderabad-based plant-based nutrition brand Earthful has raised ₹ five crore in a seed funding round led by Srinivasan Namala, the founder of Porus Labs. This latest investment brings Earthful’s total funding to over $1 million, strengthening its position in India’s rapidly expanding clean-label nutrition industry.
The company plans to use the new capital to research and develop new products, expand its brand, and strengthen its leadership team. With a strong focus on innovation, Earthful aims to make plant-based nutrition more accessible to Indian consumers.
Founded in 2020 by Veda Gogineni and Sai Sudha G, Earthful specialises in 100% natural, plant-based supplements free from chemicals and artificial additives. Its product portfolio includes multivitamins for different age groups, plant-based proteins, and targeted nutrition solutions for skin health, hair growth, sleep quality, and PCOS management.
The brand has also introduced a natural, junk-free chocolate milk mix for children, catering to the increasing demand for clean and nutritious food alternatives.
Over the past year, Earthful has tripled its growth, serving more than 100,000 customers with a 40-50% repeat purchase rate. Currently, the company operates at an annual revenue run rate of ₹15 crore and plans to expand into offline retail, ensuring wider availability of its products across India.
Ritesh Agarwal, the founder of OYO Rooms, has also committed to investing in Earthful following his investment promise on Shark Tank India Season 4. “This funding will help us bring Earthful’s clean, effective nutrition to more households across India. We believe wellness should be simple, transparent, and uncompromising on purity or taste,” said Veda Gogineni, Co-founder of Earthful.
Currently, 70-75% of Earthful’s sales come directly from its website, highlighting strong consumer trust. The company’s products are also available on Amazon, Flipkart, and Swiggy Instamart.
With plans to launch 3-4 new products every quarter, Earthful aims for 5x growth in the next 12-18 months, targeting a ₹500 crore brand valuation. Competing with industry giants like Herbalife, Himalaya, Nutrilite, and Dabur, Earthful is emerging as a key player in India’s plant-based nutrition space.
