Gurugram-based SaaS startup ACadru has successfully raised $0.5 million in a pre-Series A funding round, led by AIG Direct LLC, along with participation from a group of other investors. The new funds will be utilized to accelerate market expansion and further develop the platform’s content pathways, the company announced in a press release.

Founded in 2016 by Abhishek Singhal and Kamini Vidisha, ACadru is an innovative online learning platform designed for college and senior school students. The platform is dedicated to helping students discover their passions, develop practical skills, and showcase their accomplishments through a multidisciplinary approach. This approach includes project-based activities, mini-modules, and AI-powered profile generation, offering a unique and engaging learning experience.

ACadru emphasizes contextual explorations, allowing learners to elevate their understanding through appropriate contexts to conceptual levels. The platform offers a variety of resources, including background material, projects, content flow ideas, and source material linkages for both individual and team projects. Additionally, the platform provides resources to anchor research, analysis, and evaluation skills for learning explorations.

“ACadru’s multidisciplinary approach is what sets it apart from traditional learning platforms,” added Kamini Vidisha, Co-founder of ACadru. “With a repository of over 5,000 projects covering more than 500 topics, and new content added weekly, we are confident in our ability to meet the diverse needs of schools and students.”
