Aspire For Her, in collaboration with SEED and Payoneer, is thrilled to announce the launch of SheExports 2.0, a program aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in India to expand their businesses internationally. This virtual accelerator, set to launch on September 20, 2024, is designed to help women-led businesses in the service sector break into the global market.
India’s service exports have been surging, reaching an impressive $90 billion in just one quarter and aiming for $350 billion by the year’s end. Despite this rapid growth, only 5% of Indian working women are involved in trade-related services, highlighting a significant gender gap in the export sector. SheExports seeks to bridge this gap by offering women entrepreneurs the tools, resources, and mentorship they need to succeed on the global stage.
Following the success of its inaugural cohort, which featured 42 entrepreneurs from 16 states and various sectors such as fashion, handicrafts, and healthcare, SheExports 2.0 aims to support even more women entrepreneurs. Whether they are first-time exporters or experienced business owners, participants will gain access to valuable insights and connections to accelerate their international growth.
This no-cost, no-equity program is specifically designed for women in service-led businesses, including sectors like SaaS, healthcare, gaming, education, freelancing, and consulting. It offers a unique opportunity for participants to expand their reach and thrive in the global market.
Payoneer, a global financial technology company, is a key supporter of this initiative. With its multi-currency cross-border platform, Payoneer empowers service export businesses, freelancers, and marketplace sellers to seamlessly receive payments and grow internationally, making global business feel local.
