Bengaluru Resident Receives Laptop in Just 13 Minutes via Flipkart’s New Service

In a demonstration of extraordinary efficiency, a Bengaluru resident received a laptop from Flipkart in just 13 minutes through the company’s new quick commerce service, Flipkart Minutes. This recent addition to the e-commerce giant’s offerings aims to deliver a wide array of products, including high-end electronics, within minutes, positioning itself as a competitor to other rapid delivery platforms like Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart.

Sunny Gupta, who ordered an Acer Predator laptop, shared his remarkable experience on X (formerly Twitter). Gupta’s post highlighted the impressive speed of the service: from the moment he completed his purchase to the delivery at a Starbucks outlet, only 13 minutes elapsed. Initially, the tracking page estimated a 7-minute delivery time, which was later updated to 12 minutes due to a slight delay. The delivery partner arrived at the Starbucks location in about 3 minutes, completing the process through an OTP verification.

Gupta’s laptop, typically priced between Rs 95,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh, was delivered within the promised timeframe, with Gupta’s post featuring visuals of the unboxing rapidly gaining traction online. His experience stirred a range of reactions on social media.

“Quick-commerce needs to relax a bit. Who is in a hurry to get a new laptop delivered to their home in under 10 minutes!?” commented one user, reflecting some of the skepticism about the necessity of such rapid delivery for high-value electronics.

Despite the varied responses, Gupta defended the service, explaining that he had been contemplating purchasing the laptop for some time. “The availability of the specific model I wanted, coupled with the convenience of a 15-minute delivery window, made Flipkart Minutes an attractive option,” he stated.

Flipkart Minutes, which launched this month in select Bengaluru areas, aims to provide a more extensive product range than typical quick commerce platforms, including electronics and other high-demand items. The service’s rapid delivery model is designed to meet the needs of consumers who prioritize speed and convenience, further intensifying the competitive landscape of the quick commerce industry.
