Gnani.ai, a leading voice-first generative AI company, has raised ₹30 crores ($4 million) in a Series-A funding round from Info Edge Ventures. The funds will be allocated towards accelerating sales growth and expanding Gnani.ai’s business across various geographies.
Gnani.ai, founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, offers a no-code, voice-first platform renowned for its comprehensive features. These include omnichannel conversational automation, agent assistance, voice biometrics, and omnichannel analytics. The company’s robust client base is predominantly from the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors.

Gnani.ai’s generative AI-powered voice automation platform has helped financial institutions collect over $2 billion from their end customers in the last six months. Our proprietary AI platform has helped us grow exponentially in the last few years and secure 100+ enterprise customers in India and the US. This investment will significantly bolster our efforts to expand our sales footprint,” said the Founders.
Gnani.ai’s technology stack is distinguished by its patented solutions in Text to Speech (TTS), Speech to Text (STT), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and augmented intelligence. These technologies support not only English but also 14 Indian languages, making Gnani.ai a versatile and inclusive AI service provider. Recently, the company announced a series of Voice-first AI Small Language Models (SLMs), initially targeting pivotal sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive, and retail.
