KiranaPro, India’s leading AI-powered quick commerce platform, has made history by becoming the first and only platform to integrate with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). This move is set to revolutionise the digital retail space by connecting millions of Kirana store owners with customers nationwide and accelerating the growth of hyperlocal commerce.
With ONDC integration, KiranaPro will onboard over seven lakh vendors, expanding its reach and unlocking new opportunities for small retailers. Unlike traditional quick commerce platforms that rely on large warehouses, KiranaPro’s hyperlocal model directly links neighbourhood Kirana stores with customers, ensuring faster deliveries, greater product variety, and increased economic opportunities for small businesses.
Already operating with 30,000 onboarded stores, KiranaPro is gearing up to launch in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram this month, with a nationwide expansion planned in the coming months. The company aims to onboard over one million vendors by the end of the year, making 10-minute grocery deliveries a reality in cities across India.
“KiranaPro’s integration with ONDC is a game-changer,” said Deepak Ravindran, Co-Founder & CEO. “It positions us to scale rapidly and onboard lakhs of small retailers across states. Our voice-integrated platform will bring digital commerce to smaller towns, giving local businesses the tools to compete with larger players.”
“As India’s only fully ONDC-powered quick commerce platform, KiranaPro is leveraging AI to transform retail,” added Dipankar Sarkar, Co-Founder & CTO. “By harnessing artificial intelligence, we can bring innovative solutions to millions of customers and drive the future of digital commerce.”
KiranaPro’s ONDC integration aligns with India’s Public Digital Infrastructure mission, similar to UPI and Aadhaar, making digital commerce more accessible and scalable. The initiative also supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of democratising technology and creating AI-driven, people-centric applications.
