Event tech startup Ticket9 has announced an undisclosed amount of funding from South India’s leading actress Nayanthara and renowned director Vignesh Shivan. The investment comes after Ticket9 previously raised $200K in their pre-seed round from notable investors.
With this new investment, Ticket9 aims to bolster its technological infrastructure and expand its reach in the growing event tech and entertainment markets. The strategic partnership with Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan is expected to enhance Ticket9’s visibility, giving the startup a competitive edge in the event management and entertainment space across India and beyond.

Founded by Yazhini Shanmugam and Santhos Premraj, Ticket9 offers a robust SaaS platform designed to help organizers create, manage, promote, and monetize events of any scale. Initially focused on live events, Ticket9 aims to streamline event management processes and help attendees discover personalized events near them. The startup is also considering expanding into the movie ticketing segment in the near future.
