TV Star Palak Jain Pioneers India’s First Vegan Dog Food with Paws for Greens

Palak Jain, renowned for her role in the popular Sony Entertainment TV show Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh  Kya Hai, has made an unexpected and inspiring shift from the limelight of the entertainment  industry to the world of sustainability. Stepping into her new entrepreneurial role, Palak has  launched Paws for Greens, India’s pioneering vegan dog food brand, born out of her deep love  for animals and her dedication to making ethical choices.

Palak’s career in acting was marked by her empathy and passion for connecting with her  audience, traits she now channels into her work with Paws for Greens. Motivated by her concern  for animal welfare, particularly within the pet food industry, Palak was driven to create a product  that would both nourish dogs and promote sustainability. With Paws for Greens, she is leading the  charge to offer cruelty-free, human-grade, plant-based nutrition to dogs across India, a market  that has long lacked ethical pet food options.

The transition from actress to entrepreneur was no small feat. Palak admits the journey came with  its share of challenges—transitioning from the glam of entertainment industry to the grind of  business. However, the same resolve and commitment that powered her acting career now fuel  her entrepreneurial spirit. Palak saw a glaring gap in the Indian pet care market for plant-based,  sustainable alternatives, and it became her mission to fill it.

Paws for Greens doesn’t just promise wholesome nutrition for dogs; it also champions a greater  cause: a cruelty-free, sustainable lifestyle. The products are crafted using plant-based proteins  and produced through environmentally responsible methods, positioning them as the ideal choice  for the growing community of conscious pet parents who want to make ethical decisions for their  pets without compromising on quality.

This new venture marks a personal evolution for Palak Jain. From the bright lights of TV to the  quiet diligence of running her own brand, she has emerged as a beacon of change. Her goal is not  just to offer a product but to inspire a movement—one that encourages others to make more  mindful choices for the planet and its animals; hoping to nurture a community of like-minded  individuals—pet parents who prioritise compassion, sustainability, and ethical living.
